Before recommending new products or trades to my clients, I always try to do a test run on myself. The fact that Dreamscreens is a Canadian company is very appealing and, bonus, they are in Oakville where I live and work. We did a complicated install of a Dreamscreen two summers ago and it works (pun intended) like a dream. Our French doors open out. The track had to be installed on an angled threshold (challenging and fiddly work) and, as a registered interior designer, it was important to me that it looks seamless. Dreamscreens did an excellent job with the install and the product still functions as intended. I now spec it on all projects that need a retractable screen.

Of all the design features that comprise our backyard oasis, the enclosure created by Dreamscreens has by far been the most impressive. During the day we are able to keep the bees out and have some ultra violet shading, and in the evening we enjoy a mosquito free environment. I have had my motorized screens for 10+ years with zero maintenance. If you are building a backyard oasis I highly recommend creating a screened room so you may enjoy it all day long.

I contracted with Dreamscreens to have some custom screens built for my deck project. They were manufactured precisely and the installation was straight forward which I chose to do myself. We love our screens. They were fitted in one day and they were likely the best investment for our back yard to date. So nice to he able to sit outside at night and enjoy the evening without bugs. Dreamscreens were easy to work with and we loved that it is a family run business. Tue screens are very high quality and we have no idea of after sale service as there have been no problems with these screens.

We absolutely love our Dreamscreens! Chris and the team at Dreamscreens Canada worked with us to get them installed in a way that both protected our outdoor space but also looked attractive (by hiding them in a bulkhead). And when we had a slight glitch with the construction of the bulkhead, they came quickly to help get one screen back in working order.

Having the screens has made the use of our outdoor porch all season long work very well – up during the day to enjoy the view and down before the bugs come out.

As an added bonus, it provides a safe outdoor space for our ‘indoor’ cat!

We love them and are so glad that Chris and the DreamScreens team were able to make them work at our home.

I just wanted to write a short note expressing my thanks to the entire team at Dreamscreens for their wonderful customer service. We love our Dreamscreen, but after 6 years we needed to replace the screen. Since we purchased our home with the Dreamscreen already installed we did not have any paperwork – just the company name on the handle.It took only one phone call to Elizabeth and an appointment was provided for me to drive down to their Oakville shop and have one of the technicians replace the screen and perform a small retrofit. All I can say is that the entire team was friendly, polite and efficient and within the hour I came back to pick up my ‘new’ Dreamscreen. The guys were careful not to allow me to leave without explaining the installation and to see if I had any questions at all. I installed the new screen and everything is perfect.
It isn’t my nature to make a special effort to recognize great customer service – mainly because we have been conditioned NOT to expect it! However I felt compelled to share my experience and to thank the entire team at Dreamscreens Canada Inc. for your terrific service!
